Maps

In reading class last week we discussed cause and effect. Remember we said that an effect occurs because of a certain event. This week in social studies, we have been looking at maps and their different parts. We briefly discussed how a map without all of its parts is useless because it doesn't tell us what we need to know. What if the world didn't have maps at all? What effects on our world would that have? List at least two effects.

I think the effects would be that nobody would know where they were they were and everything would be confusing. I also think that without maps you could never find the grocery store to buy food so we would starve without maps! I think these things because without maps it would be very difficult.

if we didn't have maps no one would know where they were going. for the girls sometimes we get our hair cut at new places and if we didn't have maps we probly couldn't get our cut and that might be terrible! Also for the boys if there was a video game store that you've never been to you would be lost. these are the reasons why i think we need maps.

If we didn't have maps no one would know where to go or where to find the place to go when they needed to, or what we need. Which are things like food to eat, clothes to wear, and blankets to keep us worm.

I think the world would just be a big jumble without maps. First of all, the world would be very sad because people wouldn't know where to go, and they would have wrecks because no one could find their way. People would get really hurt! It would also be scary because if it were raining, you wouldn't know where your house was and you would get totally soaked!

I think if we didn`t have maps peole would just go places for vacation just to go. They also would have a very hard time going on vacation because they would have no clue where to go , an it would it would be a long trip! I agree with Luke because it would be comfusing. You would be saying oh I know you go this way...no you go this way,what? By the way i love this blog so far it is amazing!!!

it would be a total disaster!! everyone would get lost and not know where to go if they were sick or something like that. maybe some people wouldn't know a lot of other people because they would try not to get lost by going away from their house to meet other people.

If we didn't have maps, we would have no idea where to go when we went to a new place. Most people figure out that florida has water around it by looking at a map, at least I did.

if a map did not have any thing labeled than it would be useless to use because you would not know where you be going for instance if you drove from little rock ar to texas and back and your map would not be labeled you would end up in a dessert or somewhere.

1. If we didn`t have maps at all, the whole world would probably be really lost. I think this because usually, families like mine would probably get lost a whole lot!

2. The effects the world would have would most likely be that most of the people on this world would get very lost and wouldn`t know where their going.

I want to give another rreason why maps are super inportent and here is 1 reason why they are, becaus efirst of all my family still needs a map for georgia!! No matter how many times we have gone we still need on efor a back up plan incase something happens! So you can see why maps would be really inportent in my life!

Another reason we need maps is because what if we had family that we wanted to see and if we did not have maps there would be no way to get to them. Plus if we did not have maps we would feel like everyplace we went we in the middle of nowhere. I can not imagine how bad it would be without maps!!!!!
